Roundtable Discussions on 2008 ICPA

On April 18, 2006 Dr. Thomas Walkingtom, Hamline University Graduate School of Management, USA; Dr. Lee Munich, University of Minnesota, USA; Professor Kathryn Kearin, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand paid a visit to School of Political Science and Public Administration of UESTC for academic exchanges and negotiations on 2008 ICPA cooperation.

Prof. Zhu Xiaoning, dean of School of Political Science and Public Administration and associate Prof. Zhao Shurong, executive director of 2007 ICPA made a brief introduction on school, 2005 and 2006 ICPA and what have been achieved from previous International Conferences on Public Administration.

More discussions on how to cooperate 2008 ICPA with University of Minnesota, USA, including the theme of 2008 ICPA, conference dates and conference facilities were discussed during the meeting in a friendly way. Both sides expressed good wishes for 2008 ICPA cooperation and strongly believedthis meeting has laid good foundation for 2008 ICPA to be held in USA.
